Happy first day of June!

I have rounded up some of my favorite articles from May for you! No need to wander aimlessly around the internet looking for good stories, I’ve got some of the best right here! Check them out! Oh and if you like following blogs like me, don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’!
Motivation
In this article from Erin’s Inside Job she discusses why she doesn’t push through the pain to get a good exercise. Unfortunately there are a lot of “motivation” slogans out there that urge people to push themselves to the point of physical pain, and even tells them that if it doesn’t hurt, you’re not going hard enough. It goes back to that “no pain, no gain” slogan that you’ve probably heard. This article really spoke to me this month because I was recovering from a neck injury and was continuing to push myself too hard. It was a great reminder that there’s a healthy way to workout and an unhealthy way.
Recipes

This healthy pineapple fruit dip from Life in Leggings looks so light and delicious! She posted it recently so I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but it looks like the perfect summer dish! I can’t wait to give it a try!

Another great summer recipe, these strawberry lemonade popsicles are calling my name!

I love fruit! Making fruit into a healthy dessert is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth while still sticking to your goals. This grilled peaches recipe from Skinnytaste just looks amazingly delicious!
Workouts
I love tabata and HIIT workouts so when I saw this 10 Minute Tabata workout from PopSugar Fitness I instantly bookmarked it.

This cardio core workout was one of my favorite workouts to create! A lot of people loved the backwards burpees and I know you will too! If you missed this one, check it out here!
Products

I’m not a big shopper, but I love finding out about new things online! I had never heard of Rocksbox before reading about it from Treble in The Kitchen! This sounds like such a good idea. Who doesn’t love jewelry?
Adventure

Wes shared this article with me and I was in awe! This family bought an Island. An Island! Their story of risk-taking and adventure made me want an Island of my own! It inspired me to continue to follow my heart. You never know where you’ll end up.

I love trying new things. If you give me a challenge, I’m all in! This fitness bucket list for women has given me a new goal! I have only done a few on this list so far, but I want to do them all!

My very own adventures in Oregon were featured on the blog this month as well! If you didn’t get a chance, you can see what I’ve been up to this month!
Did you read anything inspiring online this month?
I want an island. There are islands that you can rent so if you get a bunch of people and chip in then that’s kind of like owning one, right? Thanks so much for including me!!
I know, right? Renting an island sounds pretty cool too! Let me know if you make plans to do this…i’m in!
Hi Lindsey! It looks like you have a great round up of reads right here. Thanks so much for featuring my recipe! I hope to make it again soon 😉 xo
Thanks Heather! I hope I can make it as good as you did (I’m kinda challenged in the recipe department)!
Love this roundup!! Thanks for sharing my Rocksbox post!! 🙂
Of course! I can’t wait to try it!
How fun! I love seeing all these neat and inspiring articles in one place. I’m so glad you posted them! I can’t believe that family bought a whole island, I have no idea what I would do with all that space. I wonder if they get lonely? Looks like you have had some amazing adventures recently as well. Happy Wednesday my friend!
